Wow!

So life is like a box of chocolates or not at all actually. I have decided to give up "swearing" for forty days and to say the least it is not as easy as I once assumed it would be.

hmmm....funny story now...well the beginning is not funny but it gets funny. So my friend Allisons' dad died(some of you may know her) and well Nat, Cat, Amy and I were driving to Saskatoon for the funeral at 5 in the morning when I thought "does Troy know about the funeral?" This then resulted in many attempts with the phone operater to find the sacred number of Brian Smiths' residence. I am fairly sure I never did find the real number, I started calling random Brians at about 5 in the morning until we were almost in Saskatoon. There was one number that I thought could be the right number because there was no answer. After the funeral we ventured onwards to our final destination Grande Prairie about an hour into the drive I thought I would try the "Brian who never answered again"..Turns out he was probably in his 20's and not the right number, ooops. I figure he never got a very relaxed hungover morning, all of this for Troy!

A weekend is here and I am happy.

Another Saturday!

Unlike the Saturdays I have spent in India for that last while this one is a bit more high paced.

Well anywho as most may know we are embarking on the part of the year where we all go and freeze to death on an exciting and liberating Winter trek! Wooot! One first year told me the boys have been calling it "wintercourse" think about it for awhile and then you may chuckle, I did. Anyways the moral of my life and this entry is that I hate MEC and I hate having to take loans out from the Bank of Frank Walsh in order to buy sweet warm things for four days! How ridiculous is this place actually! Anyway that was my little rant...

Today the beautiful Saturday I am hedded to Edmonton with a bunch of girls to check out a crazy fun choir concert? Oh I can hardly wait, it is suppose to be really fun and energetic.

Note to self: no matter how much of a rush you are in do not by any means go to the laundromat alone, ie CREEPY! I mean he wasn't that bad of a creepo man...okay so he was creepy, Troy it was almost a repeat of the pawn shop and my highway 14 car keys mishap..grrr...Creepos suck as my little brother Ben would say.

Well I should go get ready for a day in Edmonton..

sarah....

(Austen I heart you too and I hope to see you sometime too!!!)

O Canada!

Well I have been delayed only a month and a wee bit, my bad!

If any of you did not know I was soaking up the sun in the crazy land of India! How insano! Anyways based upon the fact that I was miles and miles aways from home and I am not very computer orientated I was not too sure how to access this bloggy-thing.

Anywho my month was an insane adventure of a lifetime and I have and will cherish every moment that was spent there, I miss it already! Last week Pastor Jimmy Jim Johnson taught at the school so the week was practically amazing. Life in Canada is a bit fast-paced and I think the members of "team India" are still running on "India time." If you are unsure what I mean about "India time" I would be glad to fill you in. Basically in India everybody "waits" for everything, there is no thought of how late a person is, you just take your sweet old time to get to any and every destination. Not to mention driving extremely slow at times when you could be going extremely fast, I'm not bitter.

This weekend I am in Edmonton with the Mr. Frank Walsh enjoying life in a hotel where I his daughter need not pay for a thing. How I love family and dads!

Well I should go do something completely unproductive.
Ps- Canada is freezing!!(not exactly new information for most Canadian residents but I thought I would just say it!)
