Nothing is happening in my life right now- stand still for a few more days!
I am going for a coffee date tomorrow..
Going to the "spa" on Thursday..
Maybe start to think about California and filling suitcases..
Most likely procrastinate on the suitcase filling and eat ice-cream or something..
Need to buy books..
My life is good..everything is falling nicely into place and I am getting more and more excited about this year..I am just happy! I am feeling very confident that I should be going to California and for once that makes me feel magnificant...usually I second guess myself on everything..

In Alberta!
I survived the Lame-O flights and am safely tucked away in Calgary to visit Nat Nat until Thursday.
My last 3 weeks were amazing but I am glad to see the prairies and reality for only another 2 weeks or so before I am California bound! WOW!
Well I should jet but just thought I would check in!

I HAVE BROKEN IN!
It is my parents 26th Wedding Anniversary today and to make it wonderful my dad has decided to take her jiggin squid...what an event to be had I can only imagine. I can only imagine because just a day ago I was jiggin squid where we brought in 3600 lbs of it! Gross!
I am sitting at my Uncle and Aunts only because I searched for the "hidden key" there is one at everyone of my family members houses and it is usually not difficult to find...the one here was hanging off of the outside light..So I have broken in so I could use the internet and type a blog PLUS escape another hour of Nans house..I isn't bad but it is fun to escape every now and then...
I have to fo now though...I have been found and interrupted and must now call my nan back...how will I explain myself?
Well my trip is coming to a close but yet just starting...I will see Nat Nat soon...
wishing you all well..

doomed by "dial-up"
I am at my cousins in "Conception Bay" and then it is back into the remote areas of Newfoundland where I will be doomed to "dial-up" when it is working...PLUS I will be at my nans and she doesn't even have a computer..so this might be an update that will have to hold you over until I come back to civilization...
So over tha past two days I have been a tourist to say the least..checking out the sites and loving the ocean..
We ventured up Signal Hill which was breath taking and took many snaps...plus just loved our lives..the view is to die for. Today we went to Cape Spear which is the most easterly point in North America..talk about amazing...WOW! LIGHTHOUSE! Then we cruised George Street which has a million trillion bars and fancy shops..and ooh la la..I might want to got to St.Johns for my honey moon..I am so in love...
but now I bid you farewell seeing as I will be leaving..."high speed" and going back to "dial-up" I will most definately be lost forever...do not cry to hard..I will be back...
I will jigg a squid for you all...

Travelling Bee...
I sit here in "Conception Bay" at about 11:30pm typing this post to any readers out there..I love Newfoundland!
Well lets recap:
Two nights ago we had a shin-dig at my Nan's to celebrate her 75th birthday, which isn't until October. All of her kids are home so they thought..what good timing for a party..and let me tell you PARTY! We had a cooler the size of a deep-freeze full of ice and booze(I am irish) and well people drank...We kept on joking about the band coming at 9 which was not going to happen but then did..haha..these guys who used to play in a band and travel were in town for the night and came up and played us some jigging tunes...a riot! My Aunt Gemma started a cake fight where icing was everywhere...crazy family..I was forced to sing a whole bunch which was awkward but I did it for my family...we had fire works for here which was fun and my Uncle Len cooked up more crab and fish stew..this place makes me smile...so I am in love with this place..housing is sooooooo good that it just makes sense to live here..
Then yesterday was "Fleur de lys' Days" haha..there was a parade which was one fire truck and ten cars following that honked there horns.."weak" but funny...no one would drive the fire truck so they made my dad do it..he doesn't even live here and he was the hed of the parade..it was amazing...there was horse shoes/games/dunk tank at the park and THE lamest fire works I have ever witnessed haha...good night I tell ya!
Now I sit here at my cousin Jasons where I have eat too many chips and am ready for bed..
missing you all..

Excursion around the bay..
I am on "THE ROCK"
Yesterday night I was up at my Uncle Len's eating hot crab out of the pot, semi-learning how to shuck it properly, I am not that good! We had a fire where I ate smores, spider dogs and drank too much pop, I am going to gain 50 pounds before I come home! I swear it!
Today we went out in the boat with my Uncle Kevin, he is a fisherman(that is his profession) and well his boat is awesome..I still feel like I am rocking haha...Well we went out a ways and then we spotted some whales..so we watched them and howled where we all took videos/pictures and were in aww of the ocean..My Uncle then stopped the boat in this bay area where we went jigging for some fish...we caught herring and marcarol(might be spelt wrong) we had to throw the herring back because we can't catch them yet but we had some feed this evening on macarol..best fish in the world...your tummy smiles when you eat it...On our way back in we spotted a few Humpbacks in the distance and one was right by the boat...all my family "jumped in fright" as they would say...then we saw some "jumpers" those are dolphins...I also saw jelly-fish of all size...
What a day!..
I think I might buy a house out here and retire waaaaaay early...why not? Who needs to work...collect my EI stamps in the summer months and go out west in the winter and work with my dad...look at my plans unfolding..I am losing it...
feels like winter here...my toes are chilled...the ocean breeze is breath-taking literally.
I am having a drink now with "ice-berg ice" that means actual "ice" in my drink off of an ice-berg! crazy crazy!
